Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Business Development Executive
with a strong background in the
IT sector
to drive revenue growth, build strategic client relationships, and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in selling IT services and solutions, managing enterprise clients, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the IT services domain (Application Development, Digital Transformation, Cloud, AI, Data, etc.).
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, including CXOs and key decision-makers.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Lead end-to-end sales cycles--from lead generation and requirement understanding to proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure.
Collaborate closely with delivery, pre-sales, and technical teams to design customized solutions for clients.
Prepare proposals, RFP/RFI responses, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and CRM updates.
Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings.
Mentor junior business development team members, when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in
Business Development / Sales
within the
IT services or technology sector
.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B IT sales.
Strong understanding of IT solutions, software development life cycle, and digital technologies.
Experience handling enterprise clients and long-term account management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build strong client relationships and influence stakeholders.
Experience working with CRM tools and preparing sales reports.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Experience in international sales or global client handling is an added advantage.
Exposure to SaaS, Cloud, AI/ML, or Digital Transformation projects is preferred.
