Role Summary:The Senior Business Development Executive is an experienced, goal-oriented professional responsible for developing and executing targeted outreach strategies, managing complex high-value accounts, and potentially mentoring junior BDEs. This role requires strategic thinking and a proven ability to consistently exceed targets.Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Account Mapping: Develop and execute comprehensive outreach strategies for Tier 1 and enterprise accounts, identifying key stakeholders and decision-makers within complex organizational structures.- Advanced Qualification: Handle complex and strategic qualification calls, effectively navigating detailed requirements and large procurement processes before handing off to the sales team.- Target Achievement & Reporting: Consistently meet or exceed aggressive monthly and quarterly targets. Provide detailed pipeline forecasts and activity reports to the management team.- Mentorship & Coaching (Optional): Serve as a mentor to junior BDEs, providing guidance on best practices for cold outreach, objection handling, and CRM hygiene.- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to the lead generation and qualification processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of the BD team.- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a critical liaison between the Business Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on target market definitions and campaign messaging.QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.- 3-5+ years of demonstrable experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably in a B2B environment.- A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly quota and performance metrics.- Expertise in using CRM and sales enablement tools for tracking and reporting.Preferred:- Experience qualifying opportunities in a specific industry (e.g., SaaS, FinTech, Healthcare).- Demonstrated potential or experience in coaching or training junior team members.- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and inform outreach strategy.
