Knowledge of accounting principles and compliance with financial regulations Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans, monitoring performance against them and analyzing variances to identify trends and opportunities. Financial Reporting: Prepare and oversee financial statements, profit-loss statements, and other reports to provide clear and timely financial information to stakeholders. Business Partnership: Act as a critical advisor and discussion partner for management and directors, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions. Performance Management: Analyze financial and non-financial data, including market trends, to understand business performance, identify potential risks, and suggest strategic initiatives. Process Improvement: Implement and improve financial processes, tools, and dashboards to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department. Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to relevant financial regulations, laws, and internal policies.
