About the Role:
Stolt has implemented Oracle Financial Close and Consolidation Cloud (FCC), Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARC) and Planning and Budgeting Cloud (PBC) applications. These solutions have been in use for several years, and we are continuously optimizing them to cater to the organization's needs. PBC is fully operational and is currently the key solution for forecasting, budgeting, and planning across the organization, covering workforce planning, capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning, and cash flow planning. It integrates with FCC, which in turn is tightly connected to our on-premise ERP system that is in the process of being migrated to the cloud.
Stolt-Nielsen is a leader in the Netherlands in adopting Oracle's Cloud solutions with an exciting roadmap to elevate our financial system landscape further.
This role will focus on providing support and enhancements to the functional aspects of PBC and FCC while driving innovation in predictive planning development, such as IPM insights and machine learning model configuration. The consultant will actively collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, and external partners, ensuring a seamless integration between applications and business processes.
This is a hands-on role within the Corporate Business Application Management (BAM) team, working closely with global teams and using a mix of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
What Youll Do:

  • Provide second-line support for all EPM applications with a focus on PBC and FCC. Work with external support partners (e.g., Bart and Partners) to ensure efficient handling of third-line support and enhancement requests.
  • Analyze and improve functional processes such as budgeting, forecasting, financial close, and workforce planning, ensuring integration between platforms and alignment with business needs.
  • Manage and regression test Oracles monthly EPM Cloud releases. Align with Oracle on any issues arising and validate together with the business new functionalities which comes available.
  • Lead functional enhancements of PBC and FCC, ensuring proper testing, documentation, and alignment with business priorities.
  • Predictive planning development: Collaborate with business teams to configure and implement predictive planning capabilities using tools such as IPM insights. Design functional models leveraging machine learning (ML) to provide advanced analytics and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Global Process Owners and other stakeholders in enhancing and optimizing the financial closure and reporting processes via EPM Cloud solutions and complementary platforms like BITMAP (BI platform based on Microsoft Azure).
  • Support cross-functional projects within Corporate BAM, providing expertise in how financial data, reporting, and analytics drive value in the organization. Support the implementation of a user-centric project methodology with a focus on functional quality.
What Youll Bring:
  • Bachelors or masters degree in computer engineering, business administration, finance, or accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Oracle EPM/ Hyperion/ OneStream / Tagetik/ Anaplan(preferably Cloud) with a focus on functional implementation and support. Experience with Hyperion Planning is acceptable. 3 yrs in Oracle EPM/ added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle FCCS and Oracle PBCS.
  • Expertise in financial processes such as Record-to-Report, Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
  • Familiarity with predictive modelling and machine learning concepts.
Must Have Skills:
  • Fluent in English.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams, regions, and time zones.
  • Strong process orientation and a self-starting attitude.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
