Overview:

The Senior Business Analyst - SCM will lead end-to-end analysis, requirements gathering, and process optimization across Supply Chain and Procurement domains (S2P/P2P). The ideal candidate will bring strong process knowledge in procurement, sourcing, contract management, and supplier operations, with experience in SAP Ariba or ERP procurement modules. Exposure to ServiceNow workflows (ServiceNow SCM or Procurement Operations) is desirable. The role involves solution design, process mapping, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive SCM transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Lead requirements gathering sessions with procurement, supply chain, sourcing, and vendor management stakeholders. Analyse, map, and document current-state and future-state SCM processes using VSM/BPMN/Visio. Prepare detailed business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with IT, SAP Ariba, ERP, and ServiceNow teams to define solution blueprints and integration points. Support end-to-end digital procurement and SCM transformation programs, focusing on automation and process optimization. Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder review meetings to define priorities and validate solutions. Ensure compliance with procurement governance, audit guidelines, supplier controls, and internal quality frameworks. Support SIT/UAT, prepare test scenarios, validate requirements, and ensure solution accuracy. Identify process improvements, operational bottlenecks, and opportunities for standardization and workflow optimization. Support change management, training documentation, and go-live activities for SCM initiatives.

Required Qualifications

8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in SCM, procurement, or Source-to-Pay (S2P) transformation projects. Strong understanding of procurement processes such as sourcing, contracting, requisitioning, PO/Invoice lifecycle, supplier onboarding, and catalog management. Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba or SAP MM procurement workflows. Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart) and methodologies (VSM, BPMN). Familiarity with ServiceNow modules (Procurement, SCM, Vendor Management, or SNOW workflow/case management). Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ServiceNow SCM, Procurement Operations, or custom SNOW workflows. Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP ECC/S4HANA in procurement/inventory modules. Involvement in global SCM transformation, shared services environments, or supplier lifecycle initiatives. Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or SCM/Procurement certifications (CIPS, Lean Six Sigma). Experience in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence. * Understanding of ITSM, procurement controls, and audit compliance frameworks.
