We are seeking a talented and motivated

Senior Business Analyst

to support regulatory reporting initiatives within the financial services sector. This role focuses on driving compliance, managing project delivery, analyzing critical issues, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful outcomes.


This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical regulatory reporting projects and be a key part of impactful initiatives in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

Establish project governance by aligning with established frameworks and delivery approaches Set up and facilitate working groups and management forums to drive project collaboration Conduct thorough root cause analysis, identifying issues and recommending tactical or strategic solutions Create detailed business requirement documentation for approved solutions, including specifications for resolution and handover to technical and operational teams Develop high-quality solution design documentation in coordination with operations and engineering teams Lead user acceptance testing to ensure release readiness and solution accuracy Validate implemented solutions to confirm they meet business requirements and resolve identified issues Provide regular metrics and progress updates to governance teams for tracking and reporting Communicate progress, risks, and issues, ensuring escalation paths are managed effectively

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related disciplines 4+ years of experience in business analysis or a similar role Expertise in documenting business requirements, designing solutions, and performing user acceptance testing Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks and compliance requirements Skills in tools like Jira and Confluence for tracking and documenting project progress Understanding of issue resolution, root cause analysis, and data validation processes Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment while meeting strict deadlines Capability to communicate effectively and engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

Proficiency in managing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAIDs) within a project Understanding of trade lifecycle processes in financial services Showcase of working on regulatory projects with global cross-functional teams
