Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated

Business Analyst (Technical) cum Product Owner

to bridge the gap between business, technology, and product delivery teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements, managing product backlogs, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth communication with clients and stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid technical understanding, and excellent leadership & communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis

Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements. Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, and analysis sessions. Create functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams. Validate requirements with technical teams and ensure alignment with business objectives.

2. Product Ownership

Own and prioritize the product backlog using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Define product roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of product increments. Work closely with development, QA, UI/UX, and DevOps teams for planning and execution. Perform backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product review meetings.

3. Jira & Documentation

Create, manage, and update Jira epics, stories, tasks, and bug tickets. Maintain documentation: BRDs, FRDs, user flows, release notes, and process documentation. Track sprint progress, velocity, and team performance using Jira dashboards.

4. Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the technical team. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues, remove blockers, and support delivery. Facilitate daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and planning meetings. Provide business context and technical clarity to developers and testers.

5. Client Handling & Communication

Manage client interactions, calls, and requirement clarifications. Present product updates, demos, and solution proposals to clients. Handle escalations professionally and ensure customer satisfaction. Gather client feedback to refine product features and enhancements.

6. Technical Understanding

Possess a good understanding of software development concepts, APIs, data flows, and system integrations. Work closely with architects and developers to ensure technical feasibility. Support QA with test case validation and UAT management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field. 4-8+ years of experience as a

Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Technical BA

. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Hands-on experience with

Jira, Confluence

, and documentation tools. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment. Technical aptitude and understanding of modern software/product development.

Preferred Skills

Experience in API-based systems, microservices, or cloud platforms. Knowledge of SQL or basic data analysis. Experience working with teams and wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq, etc.).
