Your role
We, at Khatabook, are looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Product to help drive product strategy and enhance product performance through robust metric tracking, actionable insights, and a strong experimentation mindset.
What would you do at Khatabook?
Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to inform product decisions with data and ensure metric-driven development across the product lifecycle.
Drive product strategy by identifying key product metrics, tracking them rigorously, and providing insights to improve user engagement, retention, and feature adoption.
Help improve data instrumentation, event tracking, and data visibility for a better understanding of user journeys and product usage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and evaluate experiments (A/B tests) that validate hypotheses and improve product performance.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated systems to monitor product KPIs and surface actionable insights to product and leadership teams.
Work closely with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines and modelling frameworks are aligned with product goals.
Enable senior leadership decision-making by translating product metrics and trends into clear, impactful narratives.
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analytical best practices across the org.
What are we looking for?
2-4 Years of experience in Analytics.
Strong prior experience (1-2 years) in product analytics is a must.
Technical capabilities: Proficient in SQL, Excel & Strong working experience with BI tools (Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI, Cognos, BO, Pentaho etc.)
Strong understanding of statistics and experience with statistical analysis, along with experience in designing experiments & A/B frameworks
Strong quantitative abilities, distinctive problem-solving and excellent analysis skills
Strong organizational, communication, presentation and project management skills
Background in statistical modelling and experience with statistical/scripting tools such as R, Python, Spark, SAS or SPSS is a plus.
