We are seeking a

Senior Business Analyst

with expertise in insurance and IFRS to support data-driven initiatives for IFRS 17 compliance.


You will work closely with stakeholders and use your skills in SQL and data analysis to drive successful project outcomes. This role requires a strong background in business analysis within insurance or reinsurance contexts and experience in agile settings. Responsibilities



Support business analysis activities and develop detailed requirements for the dataflow product backlog Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritize business needs Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria Conduct data analysis and validate findings using SQL Assist in solution design ensuring compliance with IFRS 17 and life and health accounting standards Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and backlog grooming Maintain traceability and document data flows and business rules

Requirements



Extensive Business Analysis experience with 7+ years in the insurance or reinsurance sectors Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques Background in working within agile environments and familiarity with Azure DevOps Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Capability to produce clear and comprehensive documentation Understanding of IFRS 17 accounting standards and related financial reporting

Nice to have



Experience with IFRS 17 programs or financial reporting systems Familiarity with life and health accounting processes and data structures Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives
