The Role Responsibilities

Job Role

Supports the Product Owner with the implementation of the requirements emanating from the Secure Handling of Production Data Standard and the standards underpinning the Data Conduct policy within FeDX.

Strategy

This role is positioned within the Chief Data Office\xe2\x80\x99s, Data Privacy, Sovereignty and Records Management hive and targets to drive the required change delivery and implementation across the organisation.

The nature and purposes of the projects may vary depending on the risk being addressed.

Business

  • Develop a deep understanding of the current state of Data Extraction rights covered by FeDX and associated processes, and systems.
  • Collaborate with ICS and Data Conduct 2LoD to ensure requirements are implemented as defined in the policies and standards set by them, ensuring compliance, and operating within risk tolerance and risk appetite and building a culture of good conduct.
  • Build awareness amongst key stakeholders around the importance of
  • secure handling of production data
  • Data Sovereignty requirements for adhoc data extracts.
  • Gather data and documents to analyse and visualise challenges and drive for pragmatic solutions.
  • Drive completion of key milestones in accordance with the FeDX Risk Remediation Plan.
  • Lead and drive key Change Management outcomes including Operational design, Communications, Learning, Operational Readiness and Guidance.
  • Effectively engage senior business stakeholders across geographies -Strong communication skills and ability to tailor complex content to stakeholder audiences.
  • Build strong and effective relationships with programme and business counterparts.
  • Proven experience in co-ordination of multiple dependencies and stakeholders in complex, large scale deployment environments.
Processes
  • Scope limited to (a) Secure Handling of Production Data Standard and (b) Data Sovereignty standard for \xe2\x80\x9cAdhoc data extracts\xe2\x80\x9d.
People and Talent
  • Coordinate with various Squads / teams, etc to ensure that deliverables are completed timely and to the required quality standards.
  • Effectively manages relevant stakeholders.
Risk Management
  • Identify, report, and escalate issues, risks, business intelligence to leadership.
Governance
  • Promote an environment where compliance with internal control functions and the external regulatory framework is a central priority.

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher qualification with experience in data risk management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to details and good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively on cross functional, large scale initiatives in a multicultural environment.
  • Understanding of data management / privacy / data protection management practices and ability to operationalise requirements into a pragmatic suite of processes and controls.
  • A good understanding of global data protection laws and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
