Primary Purpose of the Position
We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our Railway team as a Senior Bridge Engineer for a Railway Construction Supervision Project. This position offers an excellent opportunity for development.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the work is done according to shop drawings, work plan/schedule, quality assurance, safety plan and methodology approved by "The Engineer". Examine work plan/schedule and methodology submitted by the Contractor and recommend if any improvement is required. Assist in preparation of draft Work Procedure Manual, required drawings & methodology and detailed proposal for submission for GIBR approval. Manage and superintend the works of the staff working under him, day-to-day field work and utilization of available experts to monitor the construction works and provide assistance during defect liability period. Assign specific tasks to the junior Engineers/Inspector for implementation of the work. Address RFIs submitted by the Contractor for construction of Bridge/Culverts/Viaducts/Road bridges etc. Assist "The Engineer" in time and cost management for the successful construction of structures. Dealing with any other work assigned by "The Engineer" as per provision of TOR

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceGraduation in civil engineering. Experience: 10 years' total professional experience (15 years' preferable) Including 7.5 years' experience (10 years' preferable) in transportation field (preferably in railway sector). Moreover, 5.5 years' experience (preferably 8 years') in similar type construction supervision consultancy services in transportation sector including 2.5 years' experience (5 years' preferable) as Railway Bridge Engineer or similar post for similar construction supervision services required
