Senior Branch Manager

Job Purpose:



To lead and manage overall branch operations, business growth, customer service, and team performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Senior Branch Manager is responsible for driving profitability, maintaining operational efficiency, and strengthening customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Business Development & Revenue Growth



Achieve branch sales targets across loan products, deposits, and other financial services. Identify new business opportunities and develop local market strategies. Drive cross-selling and up-selling of company products. Monitor competitor activities and implement proactive business plans.

2. Operations Management



Oversee day-to-day branch operations ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Ensure timely processing of loans, collections, and customer requests. Maintain control over cash, security items, and branch assets. Ensure compliance with internal audit, risk, and regulatory standards.

3. Team Leadership & Performance Management



Supervise, motivate, and train branch staff to achieve individual and branch goals. Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve productivity. Foster a strong culture of teamwork, discipline, and accountability.

4. Customer Relationship Management



Maintain and grow relationships with key customers and business partners. Handle escalated customer issues effectively and ensure satisfaction. Promote a customer-centric environment within the branch.

5. Compliance & Risk Control



Ensure branch adherence to company policies, RBI/NBFC regulations, and KYC/AML guidelines. Identify risks and implement measures to mitigate them. Support audit teams and ensure timely closure of audit findings.

6. Reporting & Coordination



Prepare periodic reports on sales, collections, and branch performance. Liaise with regional and corporate offices for policy implementation and business updates.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 7-10 years of experience in financial services, with at least 3 years in branch leadership. Strong knowledge of retail lending, collections, and operations. Proven track record of achieving business targets and leading teams.
