Job Overview
We are hiring a Full-Cycle Bookkeeper to support a diverse client portfolio. In this role, you'll handle key accounting responsibilities using cloud-based platforms to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. You'll work closely with senior professionals and clients to maintain financial health, track performance, and improve internal systems. This role requires availability during U.S. business hours, Monday through Friday and work evenings or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Perform bank reconciliations and record transactions using QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including vendor payments, client billing, and collections
Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
Support client onboarding and set up customized chart of accounts in QBO
Process payroll and source deductions in accordance with U.S. tax regulations
Track and analyze project-related costs (labor, materials, overhead)
Assist in improving financial systems, workflows, and internal controls
Collaborate with clients and internal teams using tools such as Microsoft Teams, ClickUp, and OneDrive
Maintain organized documentation and ensure confidentiality of client data
Perform other finance and bookkeeping duties as needed
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com preferred)
3-5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience
Minimum 3 years working with U.S. or North American clients
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; QBO ProAdvisor Certification is a plus
Experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) is a bonus
Prior experience in an accounting or advisory firm strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Teams, ClickUp, Bill.com, and cloud-based financial tools
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently in a quiet, professional home office environment
Reliable internet connection, webcam, and microphone for virtual collaboration
