Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers and associated equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation. Maintain optimum steam pressure and temperature as per plant requirements. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers, pumps, valves, and associated systems. Detect and troubleshoot operational issues, performing minor repairs or escalating to maintenance if required. Maintain boiler logs, daily operation sheets, and safety checklists. Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations as per statutory norms.

Requirements:

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.

Certification: Mandatory Boiler Attendant Certificate (1st Class / 2nd Class )

Experience: 5-10 years of experience in operating industrial boilers.

Skills:

Strong understanding of steam systems and boiler operations. Familiarity with safety protocols and legal compliance requirements. Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Ability to read gauges, meters, and schematics.
