Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor the biomedical service team for effective maintenance operations.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical instruments including analyzers, patient monitors, X-ray machines, dialysis units, and cold chain equipment.
Ensure calibration, validation, and compliance as per NABH and ISO standards.
Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and vendors for parts replacement and service support.
Maintain equipment inventory, service records, and documentation.
Plan and oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment.
Conduct safety checks and ensure uptime of critical medical devices.
Provide technical training and operational guidance to hospital staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
B.Tech / B.E. in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics.
Experience:
10-15 years of relevant experience in hospital or biomedical equipment service.
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Strong communication, coordination, and reporting abilities.
Knowledge of NABH documentation and biomedical asset management software preferred.
