Job Description

Tunnels and underground stations for metro, light rail, heavy rail / Road tunnels / Underground car parks / public buildings.



Support the WSP teams (Switzerland and France) in the design / sizing of TVS for road and rail infrastructures as well as for underground projects and for public buildings.


Prepare preliminary calculations (simplified approach, preliminary calculations of pressure losses, ...) for the TVS designs. Conduct 1D simulations of complex tunnel ventilation networks. Conduct 3D CFD simulations aiming at : conforting design calculations / design optimisations / proof of efficiency / risk analysis. Prepare simulation hypothesis notes and simulation reports. Prepare design documentation and technical specifications. Liaise on a daily basis with the WSP teams (Switzerland and France).

Master degree in mechanical engineering. Min. 10 years of experience in the design of TVS and in CFD simulations.


'- Demonstrated experience in the design of TVS for road, rail and undergroud space projects.


Demonstrated experience with FLUENT and FDS (3D CFD simulation tools). Demonstrated experience with 1D TVS simulation software (IDA Tunnel if possible). Good communication skills Experience in working with countries oustide India. Ability / willingness to learn country specific codes and standards.
