A construction billing engineer manages the financial aspects of projects, preparing bills for work done, tracking costs, and ensuring accurate payments, essentially acting as the financial point of contact for a project. Preparing and Verifying Bills:

Accurately calculating and preparing bills for work completed, including running bills, advance bills, and final bills. Verifying contractor invoices and ensuring they align with the contract and work performed. Preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

Cost Tracking and Management:

Monitoring project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, against the budget. Ensuring that every rupee spent on the project is properly accounted for. Analyzing and comparing bids from suppliers and contractors.

Contract Management:

Understanding and interpreting contract terms and conditions. Managing variations and assessing any claims or disputes that may arise.

Coordination and Communication:

Coordinating with site teams, management, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate billing and payment processes. Providing regular reports on project costs and billing status.

Cash Flow Management:

Accurately valuing completed works and preparing interim payment certificates. Ensuring timely and accurate payments to contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

Experience:

Technical Skills:
