Job Description

This is a Senior Tech Manager role in a fast-paced technology delivery organization supporting regulatory compliance. This position is part of AML Global Technology team and will work closely with AML solution development teams, project managers, architecture teams and other stakeholders. The individual should also be able to lead multiple projects end to end, provide technical expertise and guidance to team, manage a small team of resources as required and be responsible for successful execution of the projects running in AML monitoring space. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead projects on Citi\'s EAP platform on Big Data technologies end to end, supervise deliveries working with team and stakeholders to deliver quality products per stringent timelines Provide expertise throughout the full development life cycle, including: requirements analysis, functional design, technical design, programming, testing, documentation, implementation, and on-going technical support Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications Nurture talent and contribute towards knowledge development of team Lead and supervise a team of senior developers, helping them own and deliver projects independently. Liaise with Global stakeholders and effectively communicate to be influential within Global AML Landscape. QUALIFICATIONS: At least 10+ years of Application development experience through full lifecycle with at least 4+ years of experience in leading projects. Strong knowledge and hands on experience in Big data using HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, Spark and other technologies in Cloudera\'s CDH distribution. Good hands-on experience on Big Data performance tuning Experience with relational database like Oracle, Unix/Linux, Python, Shell Scripting Strong knowledge and experience in data quality/assessment and troubleshooting data related issues. At least 2 years of people management experience. Knowledge of Build and Deployment tools like Bit Bucket, RLM, Service Now Knowledge of Mantas and AML domain would be desirable. OTHER SKILLS: Excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex technical concepts and analysis implications to varied audiences. Proven ability to demonstrate leadership , project management skills with high level of initiative Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Proven ability to work with teams that are geographically separated Willingness to work late in the evening India time on need basis in order to interact with US onshore team.
