Senior Barista - Quality, Training & SOP Lead

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Barista who can uphold strict quality control, train teams, and build strong SOPs across all outlets. This role ensures consistency, excellence, and a specialty-driven coffee experience at every Coffee location.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Control (QC) - Zero Compromise
Ensure every beverage meets Tribal Brew's taste, texture, temperature, and presentation standards.
Conduct daily QC checks on espresso calibration, grind size, extraction, milk texture, and brewing equipment.
Monitor batch brews, cold brews, and signature drink preparations.
Audit outlets weekly and share corrective measures.
Maintain hygiene and workstation discipline per brand standards.
2. Training & Skill Development
Lead onboarding training for all new baristas.
Conduct weekly skills refreshers and monthly advanced sessions (espresso theory, sensory, brewing, cupping).
Upskill teams on new recipes, equipment, brewing techniques, and service etiquette.
Identify baristas for next-level roles (shift leads, captains) and create structured growth paths.
Maintain a culture of discipline and craftsmanship.
3. SOP Creation & Implementation
Create clear, replicable SOPs for:
All beverages (espresso-based, manual brews, signatures).
Bar workflow, cleaning cycles, inventory processes.
Equipment use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ensure SOP compliance at all outlets; run surprise audits.
Maintain tribal-style documentation that is simple, visual, and foolproof.
4. Operational Support
Assist outlets during peak hours to maintain service speed and quality.
Coordinate with operations team for equipment upgrades, repairs, or bar improvements.
Ensure accurate bar inventory management, wastage control, and recipe cost adherence.
5. Brand & Customer Experience
Serve as a role model for hospitality, communication, and Tribal Brew's vibe.
Resolve customer issues related to beverages and quality.
Participate in brand events, cupping sessions, workshops, and product launches.
Qualifications & Skills
3-5 years of barista experience in specialty coffee.
Strong technical understanding of espresso extraction, brewing methods, and sensory evaluation.
Experience in training and SOP design is a must.
Ability to be firm, disciplined, and quality-oriented without losing team culture.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Passion for coffee, consistency, and operational perfection.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
