Responsibilities:

Preparing and serving beverages:

This includes crafting various coffee drinks (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.), as well as other hot and cold beverages like tea and juice.

Taking customer orders and processing payments:

Baristas interact directly with customers, accurately taking orders, handling cash and card payments, and potentially using point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Maintaining a clean and organized workspace:

This involves keeping the coffee bar, seating area, and equipment clean and sanitized, as well as restocking supplies.

Providing excellent customer service:

Baristas are the face of the coffee shop, and their friendly and engaging demeanor contributes to a positive customer experience.

Operating and maintaining equipment:

Baristas are responsible for the proper operation of coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment, and may perform basic troubleshooting or maintenance.

Inventory management:

This includes monitoring stock levels, replenishing items in display cases, and potentially assisting with ordering supplies.
Skills and Qualities:

Customer service skills:

Baristas need to be friendly, approachable, and able to communicate effectively with customers.

Knowledge of coffee and beverages:

Understanding different brewing methods, coffee types, and drink recipes is essential.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment:

Baristas often work under pressure during peak hours and need to be efficient and organized.

Teamwork skills:

Baristas typically work as part of a team, and collaboration is important.

Basic math and cash handling skills:

Baristas need to be comfortable with basic calculations and handling cash transactions.

Attention to detail:

Baristas need to be precise in their drink preparation and ensure consistent quality.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
