Responsibilities:
1. Coffee Preparation and Service:
Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, while maintaining consistency and quality.
Ensure adherence to standard recipes, brewing techniques, and presentation standards to meet customer expectations.
2. Team Leadership and Management:
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior baristas, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Delegate tasks effectively, manage workflow, and ensure smooth operations during peak hours to meet customer demand.
3. Customer Engagement and Satisfaction:
Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner, addressing inquiries, providing recommendations, and ensuring a positive cafe experience.
Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and resolve them to the satisfaction of the customer and the company.
4. Inventory Management and Ordering:
Oversee inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and coordinate with management to place timely orders and prevent stockouts.
Monitor product quality, expiration dates, and storage conditions to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
Build relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local businesses to support sourcing initiatives and foster community connections.
5. Quality Control and Assurance:
Conduct regular inspections of equipment, workstations, and service areas to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Perform quality checks on beverages, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
6. Operational Efficiency and Cost Control:
Implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
Monitor expenses, track revenue, and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and maximize profitability.
7. Training and Development:
Plan and conduct training sessions for staff on coffee preparation techniques, customer service best practices, and company policies and procedures.
Continuously evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for skill development and advancement.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a barista in a high-volume cafe environment, with at least Four (4) of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Extensive knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, equipment, and specialty coffee trends.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering memorable experiences to customers.
Solid understanding of cafe operations, including inventory management, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
