Job Description

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Kotlin or Java Build and optimize APIs - both RESTful and GraphQL - to serve internal and external clients Architect and implement systems using Spring Boot or Micronaut Leverage AWS services for cloud-native application development using CDK, SAM, or CloudFormation Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and Frontend Engineers Follow Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver features incrementally and iteratively Ensure code quality and reliability through automated testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps Required Qualifications 9+ years of professional backend development experience Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and/or Micronaut Proven experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially infrastructure-as-code tools like CDK, SAM, or CloudFormation Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and microservices architecture Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD and DevOps culture
