Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Backend Engineer

with 6-7 years of industry experience in building and deploying scalable microservices-based architectures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

Node.js

,

MongoDB

, containerization using

Docker

, orchestration with

Kubernetes

, and cloud infrastructure on

AWS

. You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance backend systems that power mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using

Node.js

Develop and deploy

microservices

architecture in a cloud-native environment Build and manage containers using

Docker

, and orchestrate them using

Kubernetes

Manage and optimize NoSQL databases, primarily

MongoDB

Architect and deploy cloud-native applications on

AWS

leveraging services like EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc. Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for automated testing and deployment Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability

Required Skills:

6-7 years of backend development experience, with at least 4+ years in

Node.js

Hands-on experience building and deploying

microservices

architecture Strong knowledge and experience with

MongoDB

, Mongoose, or similar NoSQL solutions Proficiency with

Docker

and container-based development workflows Experience deploying and managing services in

Kubernetes

(K8s) clusters Strong understanding of

AWS

cloud services and infrastructure Understanding of RESTful APIs, API gateways, and service meshes Solid understanding of system design, performance tuning, and scalability Experience with source control (Git) and agile methodologies
