Company Type: Service-Based IT CompanyAbout the Role:We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java backend development and working knowledge of React.js . The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in designing scalable microservices, integrating APIs, and delivering high-performance applications in a service-based setupKey Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Java (Spring Boot) .
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for high-performance applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers (React.js) to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write clean, scalable, and secure code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance, ensure responsiveness, and manage memory consumption and thread safety.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and participate in on-call support.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation.
• Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decisions.

• 6+ years of backend development experience in Java, preferably in a service-based IT company .
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+ , Spring Boot , Hibernate/JPA , and Microservices Architecture .
• Solid understanding of REST APIs , authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT), and security standards.
• Hands-on experience with React.js (basic to intermediate level) for front-end integration.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Proficient in version control tools like Git and collaboration tools like JIRA or Confluence.
• Familiarity with Docker , Kubernetes , or other containerization/orchestration tools is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies .
