Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain
high-performance backend services
using
Node.js
Build and manage
RESTful APIs / GraphQL APIs
Ensure
scalability, security and reliability
of backend systems
Optimize application performance and database queries
Integrate third-party APIs and services
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams
Write clean, reusable, testable, and well-documented code
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
Participate in system design, architecture decisions, and technical planning
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years
of backend development experience
Strong expertise in Node.js
and backend frameworks (Express.js / NestJS / Fastify)
Solid understanding of
JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript
Experience with databases:
MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL
Strong knowledge of
API development
, authentication, and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
Experience with
, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices
Experience working with
cloud platforms
(AWS / Azure / GCP)
Understanding of
microservices architecture
(preferred)
