Senior Backend Developer (Cloud, Distributed Systems & Application Development - 8+ Years Experience)

Ziggle is hiring an experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead backend architecture, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure for a large-scale consumer platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in building scalable, high-performance systems and hands-on experience with cloud services, messaging queues, and in-memory data stores.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and develop scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices. Design and deploy cloud-based infrastructure (preferably on AWS). Implement and manage Kafka for event-driven communication and Redis for caching and performance optimization. Optimize database structures, queries, and indexing for scalability and speed. Oversee CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments. Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams. Maintain strong focus on security, performance, and system reliability. Mentor junior developers and enforce best engineering practices.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of backend development experience. Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go. Proven experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments. Hands-on experience with Kafka and Redis. Expertise in microservices architecture, serverless computing, and API design. Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving, architectural design, and communication skills.
Preferred

Experience building large-scale consumer or service-based applications. Exposure to real-time data processing and system performance tuning.
