We are seeking an experienced

Senior Backend Developer

with strong expertise in

Java, Python, SQL, and API development

to join our remote team in India. This role will be critical in designing and maintaining backend services, integrating complex systems, and ensuring high performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend services using

Java and Python

. Build and optimize

RESTful APIs

and integrations with third-party systems. Write efficient SQL queries and manage relational databases. Ensure backend systems are secure, scalable, and high-performing. Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and product managers on end-to-end solutions. Implement microservices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Establish CI/CD pipelines and enforce best practices in testing and deployment. Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews.

Qualifications

7+ years

of backend development experience. Proficiency in

Java

and

Python

. Strong expertise in

SQL

and relational database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar). Proven experience building and maintaining

RESTful APIs

(GraphQL a plus). Solid understanding of

microservices architecture

and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
