Senior Backend Developer (MERN Stack) -- Remote

We are hiring a

Senior Backend Developer (MERN Stack)

for a

product-based role

. The position requires hands-on experience building scalable backend systems using

Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB

in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Node.js & Express Design and optimize MongoDB data models, indexing, and query performance Integrate internal services and third-party APIs Ensure backend scalability, reliability, observability, and security Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Mandatory Requirements

Minimum

3+ years

of software development experience using the

MERN stack

2+ years

working with

MongoDB in production

(data modeling, indexing, performance tuning) Strong experience developing

REST APIs

in

Node.js & Express.js

Experience working with

microservice-based architectures

Proven background in a

product-based or SaaS environment

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Git Ownership from development to deployment Exposure to React Native backend integrations

Work Setup

Remote 5 days/week Maximum Notice Period: 30 days
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,800,000.00 per year
