Job Description

We are seeking a

Senior Backend Developer (Java)

with strong experience in designing and developing robust backend systems. This role requires a deep understanding of

Java

, hands-on experience with either

Microsoft Azure

or

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

, and a passion for delivering high-performance, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks) Build and deploy scalable microservices on

Azure

or

AWS

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, design, and deliver high-quality software Implement secure and reliable integrations with external systems Optimize application performance and scalability Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers Follow best practices in CI/CD, testing, and monitoring

Required Qualifications

5+ years of backend development experience using

Java

2+ years of hands-on experience with

Azure

or

AWS

(Compute, Storage, Networking, etc.) Strong knowledge of

REST APIs

,

microservices architecture

, and

Spring Boot

Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools Certification in AWS or Azure Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
