We are looking for a skilled

Backend Developer (Node.js)

with working knowledge of

Angular

to join our engineering team. The role will primarily focus on backend development (80%) with some frontend responsibilities (20%) to ensure smooth API-to-UI integration. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in

Data Structures

, backend architecture, and scalable application development.

Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development (80%)

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using

Node.js

Build, manage, and optimize

RESTful APIs

and backend business logic Apply strong knowledge of

Data Structures and Algorithms

to write optimized and efficient code Work with relational databases such as

MySQL and PostgreSQL

for data modeling, complex queries, and performance optimization Implement

authentication, authorization

, and security best practices (JWT, role-based access, etc.) Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability Integrate and manage

third-party APIs and services

Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code Participate in

code reviews

, debugging, and performance tuning Follow best software development practices, coding standards, and version control workflows
Frontend Development (20%)

Develop and maintain

basic to intermediate Angular components

Integrate frontend components with backend APIs Fix frontend bugs and improve UI performance and responsiveness Collaborate with designers and backend teams to ensure a seamless user experience Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive UI behavior
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in

Node.js

backend development Solid understanding of

Data Structures and Algorithms

Experience designing and consuming

RESTful APIs

Hands-on experience with

MySQL and PostgreSQL

Working knowledge of

Angular

(components, services, API integration) Knowledge of

authentication, authorization, and security best practices

Experience with

Git

and version control systems Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of

Docker

and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with

microservices architecture

Understanding of frontend performance optimization Experience working in

Agile/Scrum

environments
