Let's make your career great!About the Role: NomiSo is looking for a Senior Security Engineer who will be a team player who is a true believer in cloud native, hybrid cloud and continuous deployment. The Security engineer will be someone who is experienced in working in an enterprise environment with hybrid networking setup and is able to get things done.Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Enabling the core platform services for our organization to consume - AWS, Kubernetes, service discovery, DNS, IPAM, load balancing, private cloud, etc
• Driving a customer centric, highly personalized approach to the evolution of our platform
• Continuing our efforts to realize a robust hybrid cloud infrastructure with specific focus on improving our security posture
• Delivering software in an agile environment, continuously

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science and similar fields
• 10+ years of professional experience in Core Networking and AWS
• Deep understanding of network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, TCP, and DNS
• Detailed understanding and hands-on experience working with AWS Networking components, Transit

Gateway, Virtual Gateway, Internet Gateway, VPC, Shared VPC, ELB, NLB, Flow logs, Web Application
Firewalls, and Route53 Knowledge and hands-on management of Palo Alto Firewall appliances

• Hands-on experience with security tools such as palo-alto, prisma cloud, cisco firewalls, routers, etc.
• Ability to design and support secure networks within and across accounts in AWS Control tower, communications with cloud to in-house network.
• Experience developing and applying Access Control Lists and Security Groups to protect virtual assets and services.

• Experience with networking Concepts (Routing, VLANs, VPCs, Route Tables, Subnet management),

Network Services (DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, TLS, and SNMP), and familiarity with the TCP IP protocol suite.

• Knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, Firewall, DLP and hybrid/Cloud Security environments

• Should have a good understanding of how to secure internal subnets against external Internet traffic by utilizing different technologies such as load balancers, firewalls, DMZ zoning, and VLAN segregation.

• Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems with multiple variables
• Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical leaders

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of consumer privacy industry compliance requirements
• Experience in implementing automation in Cloud environments Ability to mentor and train internal technical teams
• Supports application developers and identifies/solves configuration and environment issues related to the network.
• Will have considerable AWS and Linux skills, as well as DevOps skills around CI/CD and experience with tools such as GitLab (deploying using runners, etc.)
• Working knowledge and experience with project and portfolio management tools, preferably Jira, google suite.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels

• CI/CD & DevSecOps tools: Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, ArgoCD, Fortify, Netsparker, white hat, OWASP, Vault, Salt Stack, Terraform, etc

• Core Data services: Confluent Stack, Kafka, Couchbase, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL,

Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Redis, etc

• Core platform services: Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Consul, AWS, Jaeger, gRPC, Istio, Calico,

GCP, NGINX, etc

• Serverless / Function as a service concepts, implementations & patterns
• Web scale, distributed systems
