About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled

AWS DevOps Engineer

with strong experience in building CI/CD pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure, and supporting data analytics and ML workloads. This role requires expertise with AWS Glue, Terraform or AWS CDK, CodePipeline, and operationalizing data workflows using S3, Athena, and modern database technologies.

You will work closely with data engineers, ML engineers, and solution architects to build reliable, secure, and scalable cloud-native solutions.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain

CI/CD pipelines

using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Git-based workflows. Develop, optimize, and automate infrastructure using

Terraform and/or AWS CDK

. Design and operationalize

data pipelines and ML workflows

using AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, EMR, and SageMaker. Write

AWS Glue ETL jobs

(Python/PySpark) with full exception handling, logging, and CloudWatch metrics. Implement advanced

monitoring and dashboards

in CloudWatch for ETL, data pipelines, and ML endpoints. Work with

databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB)

and data lake technologies. Highly desired: Experience building and optimizing data workflows using

S3 and Athena

. Ensure security best practices including IAM least privilege, encryption, and secrets management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to documentation, runbooks, and architecture designs.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in AWS DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Data Platform Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with

Terraform and/or AWS CDK

. Deep expertise with

AWS CodePipeline

and CI/CD automation. Strong Python skills, especially for ETL and automation. Hands-on experience with

AWS Glue, PySpark, Lambda, Step Functions, and S3

. Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB). Highly desired:

Athena

, Glue Data Catalog, data lake query performance tuning. Familiarity with Docker, EKS/ECS is a plus. Experience working in secure, compliance-oriented environments (HIPAA, NIST, SOC2) is a bonus.
