Role Overview:
The Senior DevOps Engineer works under minimal supervision from the DevOps Architect to develop, support, and enhance DevOps pipelines, infrastructure automation, and tooling. This role involves deep collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams using Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret design documents and implement DevOps tools, pipelines, and components accordingly.
Automate installation, configuration, build, and deployment processes across on-premises and cloud environments.
Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application development and support teams.
Develop and support automation scripts (PowerShell, Shell, Python, etc.).
Support onboarding of teams onto DevOps tools and platforms.
Work with cross-functional teams using Agile principles.
Guide team in preparing and communicating project status to stakeholders and leadership.
Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure secure deployments.

• Encourage continuous improvement in DevOps practices across the team.

Automated Components: Tools and scripts to automate software installation, configuration, and deployment processes.
CI/CD Pipelines: Fully configured and reusable pipelines for build and deployment.
User Onboarding: Seamless integration of DevOps tools into new or existing teams.
Database Operations: Perform basic operations like data insert/update/delete/view.
Documentation: Maintain high-quality documentation for tools, pipelines, and processes.
Success Metrics:
Adherence to development and release schedules.
Code quality and minimal defect leakage.
SLA compliance for Level 1 and Level 2 support.
Number of automation-driven cost-saving initiatives.
Certifications in domain or product tools.
