Job Summary:

We are actively seeking an experienced and talented Senior Industrial Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in programming Rockwell and Siemens PLC systems, as well as extensive experience in SCADA systems. With a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience, the candidate should possess a deep understanding of various popular communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet IP, and OPC. This role will play a crucial part in designing, developing & implementing advanced industrial automation solutions catering to Industrial process plants.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop complex automation solutions using Rockwell and Siemens PLC systems with latest best programming Standards.

2. Program and configure SCADA systems to monitor and control industrial processes effectively, providing real-time data visualization and insights.

3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose automation solutions, and implement projects that align with organizational goals.

4. Develop and maintain PLC and SCADA programming standards to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the automation team.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

6. Implement various communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet IP, and OPC to enable seamless data exchange between different automation components.

7. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to select and integrate hardware and software components that meet the automation requirements.

8. Lead and execute automation projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring all deliverables are met within the defined timelines and budget of the projects.

9. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior automation engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.

2. Proven track record of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in programming Rockwell and Siemens PLC systems and SCADA development.

3. In-depth knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet IP, and OPC.

4. Proficiency in HMI / SCADA systems design, development, configuration and commissioning.

5. Experience in working with LBSM (Logix Batch and Sequence Management), Recipe based Process Automation Program Development.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex automation challenges.

7. Familiarity with the selection and integration of industrial sensors, Process Instruments, actuators, and control devices.

8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

9. Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

10. Knowledge of industry-specific standards, safety regulations, and best practices in industrial automation.

11. Experience in Selection, Sizing, Configuration & Commissioning of VFDs for various process control applications.

12. knowledge of Hazardous Area Classification and the standards for installation of electrical, instrumentation and automation Hardware for these areas.

13. Familiarity of Redundancy concepts for Communication and Control systems.

14. knowledge of Safety Systems and SIL standards.

15. Knowledge of IEC / IECX standards and other standards followed in major countries like CE, ATEX, UL etc.

16. Experience in DCS will be an added advantage.

17. Experience in MES / MIS will be preferred.

18. Experience in Data analytics used in process optimisation, quality improvisation, predictive and preventive maintenance.

19. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 / IIoT solutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
