Job Role

The Senior Test Automation Engineer is responsible for creating Test Automation Framework (TAF), building the test environment, creating the automation test scripts for functional, technical integrations and product standards. This person will also take active role in developing test automation framework, product offerings to help AutoRABIT customers benefits from true automation of DevOps end to end life cycle with full test coverage for SFDC and other SaaS/PaaS solution platforms. This role comes with lot of excitement, and responsibility to train, mentor other test engineers to deliver the test automation framework and product deliverables on time with quality, completeness. Senior Test Automation Engineer shall coordinate and work with US team members, professional services team, and customers to enhance, customize the TAF features to realize the true potential Test Automation for Salesforce platform.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop AutoRABIT Test Automation Framework (TAF) using Selenium, RPA integrated with AutoRABIT product suite.
• Work with internal stakeholders (Product Management, Engineering, customer support, Services, etc.) to plan, manage and execute all TAF and Automation Deliverables
• Create end to end working Test Automation Bots and integration with AutoRABIT Product Suite and deliver on time without sev 1 and 2 issues.
• Train and mentor other test engineers to build and deliver TAF product on time.
• Post release feedback, reporting, and Issue analysis to improve and enhance the products
• Responsibility to adhere to set internal controls.

Desired Skills and Experience

• At least 4 years in a Software engineering with hands on experience with Selenium, frameworks, tooling for a B2B Enterprise software or SaaS company
• Minimum 3-year hands on experience in Functional Test Automation development / scripting using Selenium with Java or C#
• Minimum 2-year hands on experience in API Test Automation using tools like SOAPUI, Rest Assured, POSTMAN etc.
• Hands on experience in scripting languages like Groovy.
• Sound knowledge of REST / SOAP concepts.
• Exposure of handling various file formats like XML, JSON etc.
• Experience of working with version control tools e.g. Git, SVN, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps repo.
• Sound knowledge in Testing concepts, Programming / OOPS concept, Database concepts, Agile process and ceremonies
• Excellent analytical thinking and debugging skills
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork and excellent collaboration skills.
• Strong desire to learn new technical skills and grow with latest technical trends.
• At least worked on two or three prior product companies, test Automation frameworks to allow flexible configurations and customization.
• Excellent eye for detail, fast on your feet, and a problem solver
• Ability to multitask and take the lead on several events simultaneously
• Expertise, willingness, and flexibility in working in a high-energy start-up
• Working knowledge of CI/CD with Jenkins
• Test Planning, Reviews, Defect management
• Experience in agile scrum methodology
• Build new and reusable test automation frameworks and extend existing frameworks, providing end-to-end automated testing in multi-component environments.
• Provide hands-on lead-by-example development maintenance of test plans and test cases covering functional product, integration, and regression testing.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant Majors
