You will be responsible for

Job Summary:

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the strategic sourcing team in implementing the sourcing strategy for Tesco business.

In this job, I'm accountable for:

Understands business needs and in depth understanding of Tesco processes Builds on Tesco processes and knowledge by applying CI tools and techniques. Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI's Solves problems by analyzing solution alternatives Understanding products, category performance, supplier landscape/selection, and industry insights Prepare and analyse RFIs (Request for information) and RFQs (Request for Quotes) Working with internal and external stakeholders to optimise end-to-end supply chains partnership agreement

-Data management - data gathering, validation and integration

Supporting on long term strategic decisions with Tesco and our supplier partners Creating growth and alignment with our existing suppliers base Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and handover protocols and successfully completing all my training so that I have zero GSCOP

breaches.

Commercial understanding

Fresher's may also apply - graduate of a Finance/Accounting

Strong and proven analytical skills

(or related) Bachelor's degree.

Interest in sourcing/procurement

Ability to work well in an individual and team environment

Experience using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Ability to operate in a fast paced culture of change

Analytical and/or buying experience

Communication & Influencing skills
