About the role




In this role you will be working with Hauliers and Suppliers in managing their daily delivery schedules, ensuring our orders are delivered efficiently and on time according to planned Depot capacity. Playing a vital role in handling queries and quality checks across various departments like Depots, Commercial, Supply Chain to improve distribution services continuously

You will be responsible for




Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence and have these specific risk responsibilities:

Identifying operational improvements and finding solutions by applying CI tools and techniques Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI' s Knows and applies fundamental work theories/concepts/processes in own areas of work for self and team Responsible for quality checks on all processes related to deliveries from Hauliers and Suppliers to ensure they meet efficiency and

timeliness standards as per Depot capacity plans.

Mentor team members and foster continuous learning and development. Establish adherance and stay up to date with Business As an advocate for Primary distribution services, partnering with Suppliers, Hauliers, and Tesco Depots and other teams , promoting

positive communication, creating effective relationships, and building trust.

Parterning with Suppliers, Hauliers, Risk Assessors, Distribution Centres, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance teams to enhance

service levels and ensure excellent customer service delivery.

Supporting Managers in expanding the Primary Distribution network while utilizing data analysis to identify trends, meet KPI targets,

and drive improvements across all depots

Identify process gaps and develop mitigation plans to address potential risks and improve overall effectiveness. Identify oppurtuntiies and work on projects to reduce operating cost in Distrbution Network and stay up to date with Business Assist the team in planning delivery schedule and slots for Priority supplier on seasonal promotions like Christmas and Easter event

Experience relevant for this job:

Supply Chain Management - Intermediate

Any Graduate

Distribution and Delivery schedule Planning - Intermediate

Specialization in Supply chain and logistics preferably

Problem-solving skills and analytical mindset - Skilled

2-3 Years of Planning role and supply chain experience

Excellent communication - Skilled

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Resilience and responsiveness

MS Office Suites - Skilled

Numeric and data analyzing ability

Flexibility, ability to manage multiple and competing priorities,

responsiveness
