Job Description

Role:

We're looking for an individual that is comfortable working in a dynamic environment, has the ability to take initiative and deliver on projects, and multitask. At their core, persons interested in this role should be aligned with the organization's aspiration of creating a mental health infrastructure in the country, for underserved communities.

This is a full-time role. The candidate will be expected to work 5.5 days a week, 9 hours a day with an hour's break.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will work closely with the Strategy & Operations Lead (S&O Lead) and report directly to them. The role will include, but is not limited to:

Collaborating with the S&O Lead to build the organizational strategy. Ensuring the smooth functioning of, and supporting the execution of, all existing programs. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of programs and interventions, including designing appropriate evaluation frameworks, analysing data, and supporting the creation of relevant reports. Ideating, designing, and managing the end-to-end implementation of new programs and interventions, while exploring growth opportunities for existing programs. Supporting Program Officers in identifying, finalizing, and managing collaborations and partnerships. Assisting with overall marketing and communications, as well as administrative tasks such as vendor liaison, recruitment, and training of new hires. Representing Mann Talks at external events and meetings. Performing any other tasks assigned by the S&O Lead.
All programs of Mann Talks are full funded by the Shantilal Shanghvi Foundation and so there are no fund-raising responsibilities that the candidate will need to shoulder.

Desirous Candidates Must:

Graduate/Post Graduate degree, preferably in management or social sciences. Work experience of at least 5 years (preferably in consulting or development sector). Project management skills refined through experience in planning and managing medium to large-scale projects with high levels of autonomy and stakeholder management. Strong problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized and juggle multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professionalism. Willing to commit for a duration of at least two years.

The position is for the initial period of one year and will be extended depending on performance. Salary shall be commensurate with the candidate's skills and experience.
