Inviting applications for the role of

Senior Associate - SOC Analyst

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating processes related to identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities across the environment. As a frontline defender, you will engage in initial alert monitoring, triage, and determine whether further investigation is warranted. You will play a critical role in detecting and responding to potential security incidents in real time.

Responsibilities

Continuously monitor security alerts from intrusion detection systems (IDS), firewalls, antivirus software, and advanced platforms such as Microsoft Defender and Zscaler.

Review new alerts and categorize them into events that can be resolved at the L1 level or require escalation to higher tiers.

Assist in the initial response to security incidents by following predefined procedures, leveraging tools such as PhishER for phishing detection and ServiceNow for incident management workflows.

Conduct malware and phishing investigations using


Falcon Sandbox and coordinate vulnerability assessments with Rapid7.

Maintain accurate records of all activities related to incident detection, triage, and response

Work closely with SOC team members to ensure effective communication and coordination during incident handling.


Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Solid understanding of defensive security principles and SOC operations.

Ability to analyze logs from diverse sources (firewalls, IDS, endpoint tools) to identify potential threats.

Knowledge of network-based threat detection techniques and traffic analysis.

Familiarity with host-based detection methods and endpoint security solutions.

Hands-on experience with PhishER, Zscaler

ServiceNow, Microsoft Defender, Falcon Sandbox, and Rapid7.


Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
