Job Purpose

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer with Automation experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and hands-on experience in designing and executing both manual and automated test strategies. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of Salesforce applications, including custom development, integrations, and third-party tools.

Desired Skills and experience

? Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
? 5-7 years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 2-3 years in Salesforce testing.
? Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and security model.
? Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
? Experience testing Salesforce Lightning Experience and LWC components.
? Familiarity with Salesforce APIs and integration testing.
? Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Key responsibilities include:

? Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
? Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for Salesforce applications including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
? Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Provar
- TestNG/JUnit
- Apex test classes
? Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.
? Validate Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, flows, and integrations.
? Collaborate with developers, admins, and business analysts to ensure test coverage and resolve defects.
? Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
? Maintain test data and environments for consistent and repeatable test execution.
? Document test results, log defects, and track them to closure using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
? Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
? Evaluate and ensure quality of deliverables within project timelines
? Ensure effective, efficient, and continuous communication (written and verbally) with global stakeholders
? Responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects, coordination between client and internal offshore teams and manage client queries
? Demonstrate high attention to detail, should work in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining high quality standards, a natural aptitude to develop good internal working relationships and a flexible work ethic
? Responsible for Quality Checks and adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) / Turn Around Time (TAT)
