Senior Associate, Production Services Application Support Analyst

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Production Services Application Support Analyst to to join our SDG Production Services team in Liquidity and Financing Platform (Deposit Enablement) team. This role is located in Chennai.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Provide day-to-day support for user queries, applications, mainframe jobs, and batch processes Implement monitoring and automation solutions, including AI/ML where applicable Build Java/Python scripts to automate manual tasks and optimize support workflows Troubleshoot distributed applications and resolve critical issues promptly Manage time-sensitive incidents while meeting SLAs Maintain issue logs, knowledge base entries, and technical documentation Perform deep-dive troubleshooting as SME across mainframe and distributed systems Collaborate with developers on CI/CD and automation initiatives Support deployments and releases across mainframe, distributed, and cloud environments

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Production support experience--preferably within the Finance or Banking sectors--is not mandatory, but candidates with this background will be given priority.

Proficiency with

monitoring tools

such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, Moogsoft, or similar platforms.

Programming skills

in Java, C#, or Python to automate manual tasks and develop AI-driven utilities for business-as-usual operations. Strong experience with

SQL and Oracle databases

, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries. Hands-on experience in

deployment processes

and advanced

debugging capabilities

. Familiarity with

Mainframe technologies

including JCL, COBOL, DB2, and CICS. A

self-motivated

individual who thrives both independently and within team environments. Excellent

organizational skills

, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Willingness to work

weekends and shifts

as required. Outstanding

communication skills

--written, verbal, and interpersonal. A demonstrated ability to

contribute to business and technology objectives

through proactive engagement and delivery.
