With over $600+ billion in Assets under Administration, the division employs over 1,400 professionals globally, with offices in New York, Dublin, London, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Glasgow and Bangalore.The Portfolio Analytics group within Morgan Stanley Fund Services focuses on helping clients analyze, understand and report Investment risk and performance of clients portfolios, provide portfolio transparency reporting, OTC derivatives valuation and other portfolio analytics needs of Morgan Stanleys global hedge fund clientele. We leverage the groups proprietary web-based applications and work closely with hedge fund clients and other teams within the division.The Portfolio Analytics team currently seeks a candidate who is interested in applying skills in the OTC Valuation domain. The candidate will be primarily responsible for obtaining and providing prices for complex OTC derivatives traded by hedge fund clients. The candidate is also expected to build an understanding of in-house analytics tools related to portfolio performance and risk attribution and contribute towards catering to client requirements in this space.Key responsibilities

• Perform valuation of OTC/structured products utilizing third-party valuation service providers
• Collaborate with global colleagues and with hedge funds clients to ensure timely and accurate pricing
• Work with technology team and third-party valuation vendors to enhance in-house systems for systematic pricing
• Prepare customized client reports/analysis that involve risk and performance calculation
• Resolve queries on performance, risk attribution and other analysis

Desired skillset

• Strong understanding of complex OTC products across asset classes including equities, fixed income, and credit derivatives. Hedge funds experience will be an advantage.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with MS Excel-VBA or any other programming language is an added advantage
• Proficiency in verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned task and drive it independently.
• Attention to detail and must constantly look for ways to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in finance along with CFA certification having at least 3-5 years of relevant experience (OTC Valuation)
