Job Description


1) Financial Analysis and Reporting:

- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and trend analysis.

- Generate insightful financial reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate key findings and recommendations to senior management.

- Analyse financial data to identify areas for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and process improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Critical thinking capabilities to ensure that the candidate can corelate the reasons to the movements in the numbers and vice versa.

2) Strategic Planning and Decision Support:

- Provide financial analysis and guidance for strategic initiatives, capital investments, and potential acquisitions and carve outs.

- Collaborate with business partners to evaluate the financial feasibility and impact of proposed projects.

- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the potential outcomes of different business strategies.

- Assist in the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the financial success of the organization.

3) Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve data integrity, and enhance reporting capabilities.

- Implement best practices and standardized financial procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.

- Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools to facilitate financial analysis and reporting.

- Liaise with accounting, treasury, and other finance teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial information.

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to financial planning and analysis.

4) Team management skills and project management skills

- Participate, coach, guide the team in the initial creation of documentation for the client as part of deliverables and later review the documentation prepared by the team.

- Review, evaluate and signoff all key deliverables to the client to ensure high quality output to the client.

- Proactively identify, track, manage and mitigate the risks on specific issues with respect to client deliverables.

- Resolve the issues by providing contingency plan and/or escalate the issues to the top management for alternate solutions to ensure minimal impact to quality and timeline.

- Determine the roles of team members required for the execution of the tasks based on the requirement, timelines and budget as set in the client charter.

- Identify the knowledge and skills required for execution of task and ensure the same is available and if not it is provided to team members.

- Review performance goals, achievements and concerns with each direct reporting staff on a regular basis.

- Motivate and develop team members to shoulder higher responsibilities.

- Establish channels for regular client feedback and satisfaction levels on the services provided and team/individual performance.

Mandatory Skill set:

- MBA with specialization in Accounts and Finance

- 8 years of experience in Account roles and Finance knowledge would be an added advantage.

- Excellent communication skills

- Maturity to handle regional and global stakeholders across the hierarchy.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

- Advanced knowledge of financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel-Macro, Power query, power pivot).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexible to work in UK shifts (3PM IST to 12AM IST) and during weekends or long hours based on need.

- Strong knowledge about SAP and Hyperion Financial Management.

- Strong in operations, Reporting, A/c & finance mgmt., Comm. Skills, Team handling, Internal/External stakeholders handling.

- Demonstrates project management and skills.

- Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple clients and diverse team
