Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide level one and level two onsite technical support to Grant Thornton lines of business.
Maintenance of all office PC systems, software, configuration, updates and patching to keep equipment in compliance with firm standards.
Record support incidents in our incident management system and monitor and manage local office queue and document knowledge solutions if any.
Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications and any other authorized desktop applications.
Update IT Asset inventory for all laptops, printers, servers, networks & other accessories
VDI and application support.
Troubleshoot and replacement of the hardware part of laptops.
Desk side or remote technical support
If the issue cannot be resolved by Local ( in-house) team, it will be escalated to respective SME teams
Handle onboarding/offboarding process
Reporting hardware issues to vendor if any
Periodic review of the key IT infrastructure equipment's and create a case to renew/replace the equipment's
Create AMC with vendor or backup plan, if any IT service is down
Connectivity escalations if any for Internet connections
File server access provisions, printer access management
Managing the vendor relationships and getting the service on time
Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.
Support and troubleshoot AV/VC devices.

Skills:
Skills, Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area; equivalent work experience is considered desirable.
At least 5 years of related work experience in desktop support in a medium or large sized organization.
General software support expertise to support users.
Ability to work as a team and be a "team player", especially during time sensitive tasks/projects which may require overtime to successfully complete the job.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Flexible at work.
Self-starter, capable of successfully balancing multiple support and project goals while maintaining priorities unsupervised.
Highly reliable, well organized and able to maintain a professional work area.
Perform other duties as necessary or assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the firm.
