We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Fund/Client Accounting to join our Private Equity team in Pune. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Conduct accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and moderately complex funds including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports. Perform complex Fund/Client Accounting responsibilities in driving Service Improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes, and specialist review functions. Provide input into methodologies and review the work of more junior team members. Guide and review work related to cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts or transactions, resolve reconciliation issues, and draft client reports on fund performance. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 7 plus years of total work experience preferred. Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm preferred. Ability to evaluate GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on BNY fund accounting practices. Proven ability to provide guidance to less experienced team members.
