Job Summary

We are looking for a

Plastics Recycling Plant Operator

to manage day-to-day operations of plastic recycling machinery including sorting, washing, shredding, extrusion, and pelletizing processes. The role ensures efficient production, quality output, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor plastic recycling machinery (shredder, washer, agglomerator, extruder, pelletizer) Sort and process plastic waste based on type and grade Ensure smooth material flow and minimize downtime Conduct basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Maintain production records and daily logs Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations Maintain cleanliness of the plant and work area Report equipment issues and quality deviations to supervisors
Required Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma / High School (preferred) 3-5 years experience in plastics recycling or manufacturing (preferred) Knowledge of different plastic types (PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP, etc.) Ability to operate industrial machinery Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills Willingness to work shifts
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long hours Ability to lift moderate weights Comfortable working in a factory environment
