Responsibilities:
Manages accounting functions related to the Accounts payable and General Ledger. Should have thorough knowledge of end to end AP and GL process. Vendor management, PO management, Invoice and Expense report processing, creating payment batches on periodic basis. Perform periodic account reconciliations. Prepare, review and post journal entries including month end accruals. Ensure all vendor invoices and reports are processed timely, accurately and in accordance with company policies and guidelines. Perform intercompany reconciliations and accounting for intercompany transactions. Assist in month, quarter and year end closing processes including certain reports for closing processes. Work cross-functionally with various departments to provide financial insights and relevant reporting. This position requires assistance in payroll processing. Calculate, analyze and follow up on results of payroll data to ensure accuracy of each biweekly pay cycle. Maintain payroll files.
Qualifications:

MCOM / MBA (Finance)
Essential skills:
International accounting - AP, AR, GL, MIS for assigned entities. Understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices. Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now. Expertise in MS Office particularly MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Experience in SAP and Hyperion Reporting (HFM) is preferred. Attention to accuracy & details is required. Excellent written & verbal communication skills Ability to work in fast paced & dynamic working environment. Collaborate with cross functional teams & work in matrix reporting structure. Required to work in European shift (12 PM to 9 PM IST)
