About the role




I deliver high quality technical and behavioral training to our Colleague Engagement Centre Associates and Senior Associates; helping them build confidence and capability, and enabling them to efficiently and effectively respond to the needs of our UK & ROI colleagues.

You will be responsible for

Ensuring I understand our Core Purpose and the role I play in delivering this Role modelling the Tesco values and leading by example in what I do and how I behave

- Delivering first class quality training to all delegates - ensuring all colleagues achieve the required standard of knowledge to perform in role

Ensuring my own knowledge of training content is always up to date across all business areas I support

- Identifying opportunities to improve our training content and approach and feeding back to the Lead - Trainer and Manager - CEC Operational Support

Evaluating and measuring my own effectiveness as a trainer through feedback and quality surveys Successfully balancing the equally important messages of technical and behavioural training for delegates: what you do and how you do it Adapting my style to suit training groups and individuals and get the best out of delegates Sharing feedback on delegates to recognise success and support consistency of approach with ongoing coaching and capability building Proactively supporting the operation during quieter training periods, maintaining first hand experience of contact handling Supporting Senior Associate and Lead operational colleagues to refine their coaching skills Understanding the part I play in delivering our key metrics and performance measures Delivering all relevant KPIs consistently and to agreed quality and standards Delivering my own personal objectives, preparing for and participating fully in everyday and structured conversations with my colleagues and manager Taking ownership of any issues and using my knowledge and behavioural skills to engage, understand, action and deliver with confidence Continually developing my skills to be the best I can be in my role
