A&M Tax offers a broad range of professional services which include tax compliance and advisory services covering transaction tax, international tax, funds taxation, transfer pricing, indirect tax, etc.

We are looking for an experienced BEPS Pillar 2 Tax professional to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for working on projects for advisory and compliance with the OECD's BEPS Pillar 2 guidelines including Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) rules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international tax compliance and advisory,

particularly in the context of Pillar 2 regulations and will be responsible for managing complex client engagements across multiple jurisdictions.

How you will Contribute:



Analyze and interpret BEPS Pillar 2 regulations, including the GloBE rules, to assess their impact on the client's tax position. Assistance in development and implementation of tax strategies to ensure compliance with the Income Inclusion Rule (IIR) and the Undertaxed Payments Rule (UTPR). Lead and manage BEPS Pillar 2 impact assessments, including technical analysis, quantification, and review of CbCR data and processes. Assistance in calculation of key components for BEPS Pillar 2 advisory, inter alia, covered taxes, qualifying net income, effective tax rate, etc. ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Provide advisory on Pillar 2 modeling, safe harbour analysis, data mapping, and treatment of complex structures. Prepare impact assessment models and analyze gaps based on the client's ERP, tax accounting, and reporting systems. Track global tax trends, developments and regulations, and provide strategic insights on their impact for optimizing the company's tax strategy and ensuring regulatory compliance. Assistance in providing training and guidance to internal teams on BEPS Pillar 2 requirements and best practices. Participate and support in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and reports, ensuring they adequately disclose the company's compliance with BEPS Pillar 2. Provide support for tax audits and address inquiries concerning international tax issues, including those related to BEPS Pillar 2. Support client communications by addressing expectations and issues, gathering relevant engagement data, and tailoring project deliverables to meet stakeholder needs Assist in, including but not limited to, liaising with clients, and other A&M offices, for information required Gain strong fundamentals in relevant regulatory laws for BEPS Pillar 2 and APAC tax. Support other tax services lines, where applicable. Participate and assist in preparing for client meetings, business development initiatives, proposals, pitches, etc. Take ownership of assigned workstreams ensuring supervisors can timely review and provide constructive feedback of deliverables, and otherwise proactively responding to changes in workflow, and build upon the feedback received Collaborate efficiently within a team by sharing duties, offering assistance, keeping communication channels open, and informing senior team members about the progress of tasks Operating as part of a global team this position will require flexing the hours worked to accommodate global time zone.

Qualifications:



CA / CPA, Master's in Taxation, LLM, or MBA (Finance specialization) At least 3-8 years of experience in international tax, with a strong focus on BEPS Pillar 2 and global tax compliance In-depth knowledge of OECD tax guidelines and exposure to tax laws in multiple jurisdictions will be an advantage Familiarity and practice experience in a Big Four accounting firm and / or other key APAC countries' taxation (including centre of excellences and outsourcing centres) will be an advantage Excellent communication (oral and written), analytical, drafting, presentation and interpretation skills Ability to work independently Strong communication, project management, and business development skills Strong sense of personal motivation as well as the ability to work with a team Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural and time-sensitive environment
