Job Description

Role Overview
You will support the asset management team of a global asset manager, focusing on day-to-day operations, performance monitoring, and portfolio management of loans, real estate, infrastructure, aviation, shipping, and other asset-backed investments. The role involves financial modeling, portfolio analysis, technology implementation support, and collaboration with internal teams and external service providers to maximize asset performance. Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day workflows of the fund's assets, including cash flow monitoring, asset performance analysis, and risk management
Build asset-level cash flow models, incorporating waterfall/promote structures, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing
Apply methodologies including DCF, comparables, transaction comps, and NAV/appraisal approaches
Support portfolio onboarding, reporting, and analytics throughout the investment lifecycle
Coordinate with internal teams and third parties on lender reporting, loan covenant monitoring, and credit agreement compliance
Outline key terms in credit and purchase agreements
Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements across asset classes
Prepare periodic reporting and utilize portfolio management tools to track deal performance
Mentor junior team members and review their work Skills & Experience
7 10 years of experience in asset management, private credit, or hard assets (real estate, infrastructure, aviation, shipping, etc.)
Strong knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS accounting and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills
Solid financial and analytical skills with a clear understanding of investment performance drivers
Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task and manage stakeholders
Experience with project management and technology implementation in asset management Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with third-party tools/databases: RealPage, Bloomberg, Alteryx, Tableau
CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent qualification in Accounting & Finance

Skills Required
